Why I Am Not Investing In Shohei Ohtani

Shohei Ohtani is the best baseball player of this generation and of all time. This means his cards must be a slam dunk, right? In this video I look at Shohei Ohtani’s cards and prices and debate if I should sell a lot of my persona collection to buy a single Shohei Ohtani rookie card. I hope in this video I can explain why I am not investing in Shohei Ohtani.

You may not be a hater Scott… but somewhere along the line you weren’t a believer in Ohtani’s greatness either, otherwise as much as you’re in the hobby you would have bought a Shohei Ohtani card.

I think you blew it. Ohtani is the closest thing we have seen to Babe Ruth in forever. All of these guys are HOF’ers but Ohtani has done what none of these have.

Sounds like you waited too long and missed the boat on Ohtani. I did the same thing with Judge. It happens. Either way I think you made the right decision.
