This Thai government took power by a coup! They are NOT legitimate! They lost the election. Now they are behaving like confused chickens and have NO idea what they are doing! This is the worst I have seen and heard in decades! A disgrace to the country!

Looks like they’ll shut down some of the small shops and make the remaining shops “dispensaries”.
I think they’ll make it easy for tourists to become medical users, maybe a couple of hundred baht for a card.

“Medical cannabis is a bit of a joke”

Tell that to an elderly person who sleeps well each night or whose joint pain is eased due a small dose of CBD/THC each day, tell that to the parents of an epileptic child who stops having 30 seizures per day…..etc etc. If 999 people out of 1000 use a med card for recreational use to avoid jail and there is one person with a medical condition that is alleviated with cannabis, then that is a good thing.

but you did get right about medical cannabis being the necessary step towards full legalization.

Maybe they will re-list alcohol due to all the resent deaths it’s caused?
