Brighton & Hove Albion head coach Roberto De Zerbi has confirmed that Kaoru Mitoma will miss Saturday’s Premier League trip to Nottingham Forest due to injury.
The winger, who withdrew from the Japan squad with an unspecified injury, will join James Milner, Adam Webster, Pervis Estupinan, Danny Welbeck, Solly March, Julio Enciso and Mahmoud Dahoud on the sidelines.
However, De Zerbi has some positive news as Lewis Dunk, Tariq Lamptey and Nayef Aguerd are all available for selection, while Igor Julio could also recover from an ankle issue.
De Zerbi said he has lost count of the injuries and praised Nottingham Forest and their manager Vincent Kompany ahead of the game.
