In today’s Nottingham Forest video, we sit down with Maz from @seagullssocial to discuss the upcoming Nottingham Forest match at the City Ground against Brighton in the Premier League this weekend. We give our own match preview and thoughts on the game.
So how will NFFC boss Steve Cooper set up his Forest team for this match against Brighton?
After throwing away a 2-
love Mitoma, wish we had him
Another fine opposition fan interview with intelligent viewpoints. Outside of our matches with Brighton I wish them well, they are a good side. At home we defend well, and outside of the Luton debacle have conceded no more than 1 goal/game this season. That could change, but working the possibilities around that we should be able to match them, and beat them so long as Woods doesn’t need 5 shots per 1 on target. I like our midfield support on the counter and we score from that more now. I still feel Brighton need to beat AEK midweek to qualify in Europe, as if AEK win they have to play Ajax whilst Brighton then play Marseille. So It depends on whether Zerbi sees Europa progression as the priority. I’ve gone for 3-1 to us on that basis. I actually see the Everton game as a potential banana skin for us if the a recent events have fired their team up. But that’s for next week. As for a fan view of a manager. I always take the player mistakes out of the matches that cost us goals and misses. That exposes the Managers tactics, relative to the players performance. If the Tactics are better than the results, when you adjust the points potential, and factor in all of the player factors including injuries. That is your manager. Cooper is a top 10 premier manager in waiting. Given that he’s only had 50 games in the premier so far he’s improved markedly, and irrespective of the player level he’s got the team to perform regardless of quality. With injuries, and an incomplete final squad. I’d give him much more time so long as he doesn’t lose the dressing room. But that’s just my opinion. Have fun everybody and be well.
we have to get at them from the start and go for 90mins,do this, like AV,and we willl win
Nobody should look forward to coming to the city ground!!
