Manchester United have been dealt a fresh blow in their search for a replacement for Jadon Sancho, as Brighton star Kaoru Mitoma has signed a new long-term deal with the Seagulls.
Sancho is expected to leave Old Trafford in January after falling out with manager Erik ten Hag, who has frozen him out of the team. The England winger has been linked with a return to Borussia Dortmund, where he enjoyed a successful spell before joining United.
