5:32 Ohtani’s delayed pitching start
I challenge the Dodgers staff to ensure that Ohtani never gets injured again. This must be done. Don’t let him steal another base again. At least not in the postseason.
The image of him writhing on the ground in the World Series is something I NEVER WANT TO SEE AGAIN.
Sports is often a nice reprieve from unfortunate things going on around people. I’m not directly affected by the fires, thankfully, but the ash and air quality haven’t been treating me well, even while remaining mostly indoors. Just hope the winds calm down, for everyone’s sake out there. Not to downplay the property damages, but my first thoughts are those with real respiratory issues and those at health risk from the smoke. I know the weather is bound to change over the rest of the week, but it truly can’t happen soon enough.
