Thanks for the mail read nick! The last paragraph (I’m not sure if you read it off camera before and skipped it here or just didn’t read it) was kinda adressing the whole “is the internet real life” side of things. Because when I watched Sixers Knicks with my 50+ year old dad, all he had to say was “kid looks good”. Im probably guilty of being a comment section ass bitch usually in response to the horrible takes I see in there from others but maybe the answer is to literally not open them. Also I realized that email was a disjointed disaster with like 3 unnecessary paragraphs upon hearing someone else read it so my bad on that one lol

On the homophobia stuff, I think the monetisation of twitter blue has made accounts like Antonio Brown make this so much worse. Recently Le’Veon Bell quoted a picture of Fletcher Cox wearing some sort of pink shirt or something on an NFL broadcast to call out his “lack of masculinity” or some shit like that. Since then every tweet from or about Fletcher Cox has been hundreds of those awful incels harassing him for his outfit. Of course the irony of this is that if any of those people (including Le’Veon) came face to face with a 6’4, 6 time pro-bowl and all-decade DT they wouldn’t be able to even get a word out.

To piggyback off your Shohei comments, Shohei is also a generational talent. So when you have a team that already couldn’t make the playoffs with arguably the most talented player in Trout who then receive a generational talent and STILL can’t be dragged into the playoffs, it’s a bit different than KD’s situation in OKC
