Im not sure if Mighty is copying pitching strategies that work against humans in DD but for the CPU you simply cannot repeat pitches and locations like that. They coded the cpu to ‘learn’ in a predictable way. But if you vary inside, outside, up, down, velo + – thats how you beat the algo. I have a 1.3 era on legend atm and this is a basic strat: 4 seam high and outside, changeup low and inside. (usually 0-2). Now i do not repeat anything here. I do 2 chase pitches, 1) 12-6 off the plate 2) slider outside. Then if they didnt chase I go back heater, high inside. Because Ive now had 3 pitches between the last time I threw it so they wont be ready to crush it. Most of your home runs are on repeats. Keep testing new builds every time though its interesting to watch.

At this point, you just need to give up playing this game. You are not good at it. You’re never gonna learn. You do the same thing over and over again and expect a different result.

You took a step backward because you gave up control for more velocity again. Leveling up your attributes are the key to sustainable fastballs, not the loadout, because with the loadout you’re sacrificing something for something else. We’ve all said this before but you’re not listening. Your pitch selection and location still aren’t right either. You can’t keep relying on 1 pitch to get you through by throwing it consecutive times in a row. Have an out pitch you can throw that you can trust and DON’T nibble the corners or set the aim for outside (the blue line) unless you’re in a 2 strike count (and not 3 balls or you risk walking the batter if he takes it).
