Small ball is important, especially in the playoffs when facing elite pitchers. It’s a good strategy to wear down the opposition’s pitchers. It’s puzzling to me that today’s major league players are not good bunters. It wasn’t like that in the old days.
Dutin May should come back as a reliever to protect his arm.
If Grove has options then I choose Honeywell over Grove.
Amed Rosario and Tommy Edman will close up the black hole that is the bottom of the lineup!
Dodgers need more high batting average guys in the lineup at the moment!!! So Amed Rosario in the lineup strenthens the offense!
Blake Snell has been good not great this season. Yes, he pitched a no-hitter, but many pitchers have thrown a no-hitter and still had a below average career. I believe that some of his issues aren’t just that he walks more batters than teams want. Some of it is that his representative is Scott Boras and some teams don’t like to deal with his antics
In case of that Ohtani pitches, it may be not better to be lead off. He has to rush preparing after finishing the first inning.
The second or third butter seems to be better.
Why did they reacquire Rosario if they aren’t going to play him over K.Hernandez? Dave has his faves and is very slow to incorporate other players
Every link in the chain will get better when the Dodgers FINALLY Get Healthy!
Thx for the show! I’m curious who strikes out more in the 1st inning as the leadoff hitter, Mookie or Shohei. It might not matter in the big picture, but I hate starting the game with a strikeout.
