Ben, does Pancake Palace serve kimchi pancakes?
I agree. It would be the same as if they banned pancakes and chicken wings tomorrow. Certain restaurant owners would have a lot to lose.
If all the 18000 licensed dispensaries band together, collective lawsuits could be an option. The Thai government needs to tell licensed operators and the consuming public what/why specifically the proposed reversal. What are/have been the dangers to the public by the cannabis industry so far. Define these dangers, correct the specific problems related, and keep businesses licensed and open. Then put these proposed industry regulations before parliament.
I wish they would fix the News reporting on incidents in Thailand.
Pattaya, Chinese man got into a brawl and although he was heavily drunk, he smoked a little weed. The smoking became the headline and not the drinking, multiple this story by 10. I even saw a story that indicated a guy smoked weed and he was hyped up like he was on speed. News flash, he was on speed. I’m a smoker for many years, there is no weed on earth that will make you attack people, fight people, or commit a lot of these crimes that require a lot of physical activities.
Now if the news reported a large group of people breaking into a bakery and later falling asleep on the floor…thats weed and thats more believable.
Didn’t the same thing happen to e-cigs and vaping? There was no law passed by Thai Parliament to make e-cigs illegal. Some bureaucrat decided vaping was the same as smoking and started issuing edicts to ban it. Bureaucracies serve to strengthen and grow the bureaucracy … they never serve the interests of the people.
Just curious if the government plans on paying back the license fees to the 18,000 legal cannibas shops.
