All I know is that I was here a year ago and the prices were about 200 to 300 Baht less a gram of marijuana. I feel like if it’s going to be legal in Thailand then the prices should mirror the prices of most things in Thailand, which is affordable….790 a gram of weed is pre legal prices

Well, selling beer, wine spirits require the same type of license at the moment. Why would we want to have specials licenses (licensing by gradation) for beverages containing a higher level of alcohol, so any general store can sell beer for example, for wine only those that have an upgraded license and spirits (Whisky, Gin, etc) in some special stores only.
Let’s not compromise too much!

CBD is not the only part of cannabis that is medicinal.. THC is also medicinal so how do they think they can control what’s for recreation and what’s for medical by THC quantities.. the best is just leave well enough alone.. since people that need it medically can access it now and people that want to use it recreationally can access it legally.. what are they gonna do fill the jails back up after releasing the political prisoners?!

I don’t use THC but I am all hyped up on Mt Dew !! this is my thoughts at 5:10 am Monday morning..
PLEASE !!~!~ It’s all there “Fax Mentis incendium gloria cultum” {The torch of the mind lights the path to glory} et cetera, et cetera.. “MEMO BIS PUNITOR DELICATUM” {I remember the spoiled punisher twice} It’s all there! Black and white, Clear as crystal.. you either deem it a narcotic or you don’t..
1) stop with the (only sick people can have it ) then have the hospitals dish it out !!
2) stop with the (it’s recreational if you enjoy it & that is unlawful) hard to TAX enjoy isn’t it…
3) stop with the (the potency can be only 1 or 2 level of a scale and not 10) so they smoke 5 times as much & more smoking is what you want people to do right?
Here in TENNESSEE, the stuff is so strong I can get high from people smoking it 50ft away & NO ONE goes nuts ! or gets in fights ! Matter of a fact I’ve never heard our Police having to be call to a disturbance with THC involved..

Thinking about alcohol vs. cannabis. If for some reason you could only have one, would you want the one known for bar fights, domestic violence, and serious health issues in some cases of misuse, or would you want the one known for having lethargic dudes sitting around calling each other “dude” while getting the munchies? Which one has the greater downside risk? I just can’t understand why lawmakers (in any country, not just Thailand) can’t just sit down with all the facts and decide, based on all the facts, what laws/regulations make the most sense both in terms of economic and social wins.

A decade ago I started an internet show about the growing cannabis market in LA and witnessed the birth of a whole new industry. The Kingdom is wise, and will follow the same path of discovery in time. The obvious health, wealth and benefits of the plant will prove it’s value and tenacity.
