If the 6000 shops cannot sell products over 0.2% THC, as the law will state, (and stated previously upon legalisation), they will be forced to close. Nobody will buy a product so weak.
Great presentation there!
As an everyday cannabis user, I was offended to see people smoking in public many places in Pattaya without concern for anyone, and thats where I would like to see the law enforced. Its so disrespectful.
Great presentation. If Srettha Thavisin were to “recriminalize marijuana” it would not only put thousands of people out of work, but think of all the investments in dispensaries which must be in the millions of Baht. The farmers of Issan are finally gaining prosperity by cultivating this weed in huge plantations. Also Thailand could make a fortune by exporting this crop, -for instance to Germany which is now working out the details of recreational use. The 6000 dispensaries should definitely get together with lawyers to push back against this new backlash. This angers me even though I personally do not use cannabis !

Protect the kids ?¿???? Yes ! 100%
Taxes?
NO !
I am for less taxes in EVERY aspect. ALL 1st world governments have WAY TOO MUCH money (Often spoken in Thailand “too mutt”). The problem is ALL governments suck at managing and spending money. What we need is government EFFICIENCY. The solution to their pathetic money management isn’t to give them MORE.
But…. That’s unrealistic.
If it takes “sweetening the pot” with taxes to get legislators to pass new laws for legalization…… Compromises are often a must. Just ask Alexander Hamilton……
Nice Ghostbusters reference lol
What is the point?
Decriminalization of possession but criminalize usage?
I don’t like to speak about Thailand, and more so its government, because I love Thailand so much. But this is wacky (no pun).
If they get 300 THB each, they might. Power is in the Baht.
