Stop keep on going on about bikes! It’s there way of life! It’s not going to change! I’ve seen this since 1998
All you will do is damage your Chanel! I respect your opinion! But this is Thai way of life! Trust me! My wife says Ferangs are trouble makers !and need to remember who’s country there visiting!
So I aggree!
Respect there way of life! They do not tell us about our roads or the way we control our driving standards!
I agree! If you want to ride or drive it’s your decision! Not a Thais!
So lets see a follow up in a few months and hear the sentencing for the Thai man that should be being charged with A Stabbing.
I mean, we all know the Thai News commentators don’t do follow ups.
Why are the Farang Commenters also never following up??
not sure , but..but……..that Indian tourist…was that a – quality tourist -…..?
just getting worse is pattaya i never go to the city now
Riding in Trang is great. Good roads, little traffic.
Lived in Phuket prior. Wouldn’t ride on two wheels there.
If Pita demands inclusion of S112 changes in his MOU with Pheu Thai and others, then he will not be elected PM by the needed 60+ Junta appointed Senators. If he is smart then he will back off and allow this to remain outside the MOU. Then once he is PM, he will negotiate his proposed changes with Pheu Thai, and then they can pass those agreed changes to the S112 Laws in the House – and it does not matter if the Senators agree or not.
Couple of points firstly I have ridden over 30,000 km in the last two years without am accident however your approach to riding a bike in Thailand is a completely different mindset , for me I have applied the following :
Assume every Thai driver is not concentrating on the road either texting or making calls
Most have no awareness or care about other road users
No social stigma attached to drink driving
No traffic law enforcement.
A high percentage have not passed a,test and lack driving skills
Never ride above 60km
Don’t ride after 9pm or before 6am
Inter section u turns to be avoided
Anticipation ,as most will pull out in front of you, cut in front of you or break at the last minute
Its just the way it is.
Keep safe…
Do you really believe Thailand is a Democracy?
It’s interesting to observe the rulings coming lately from the Constitutional Court. As a court that was installed by an illegal military administration, they now appear to be very concious of the recent election results and how that may affect their tenure.
