Shohei Ohtani (大谷翔平) suffers UCL tear & how it affects his impending free agency | Flippin’ Bats
Even though I am not a native English speaker, I could tell that he was quite angry.
I agree with Ben I am fuming at the Angels I despise how they didn’t protect him properly
Why so much, Gloom & Doom? If Shohei becomes a one way player, so be it. Unfortunately as it maybe. we still got to witness the greatness when we did. Sports at times, is unforgiving, this is not the end of his story, being on both sides of the ball. Sounds like a lot of “Chicken Little” syndrome. He gave MLB, 2 AL MVP, ROY
You guys are wrong for blaming the Angels. Ohtani does what he wants. He loves to play the game. If he wants to pitch. He’s going to pitch. If he wants to take a day off. They’d give it to him. He has that Kobe mentality of not wanting to take days off because of fans. It goes both ways. Yes the angels could’ve told him “no you’re not playing, take the day off.” Then again, Ohtani has been the captain of the ship since he got to the angels. It’s always been what he wants. They’re not going to stop doing what they’ve been doing for the past 6 years because it’s his walk year. That’s the reason why he chose the angels in the first place. They gave him the opportunity to do both because HE wanted to do it.
I am 100% in agreement with you Ben. Shohei has given so much to the sport of Baseball and the Angel organization. For Shohei to play for the Angel organization is like a gift from GOD. Let’s face it, the Angel organization is and will be a nobody organization. Before Shohei, no one pays attention to the Angel. Shohei is a rare player and in fact, Babe Ruth shouldn’t be compared to Shoei in the same sentence. Angel’s organization just show the fan of Baseball why they are not a winning organization because their heart is not in the right place. It’s time for Shoei to move on and he will get back and be the 2-way player that he is in no time.
Moving forward they will know how to handle 2 way in terms of rotation and resting
That stuff is serious. His arm may never be the same.
