I’m in Hua Hin right now and I am a legitimate medical cannabis candidate. I got a prescription. Even so, the owners of the shops, and they are abundant, don’t seem to worry about it (yet), I think they are trying to clear inventory so they can pay bills. They didn’t say, but I suspect the November date is in their minds. They need a transition time so they don’t end up with no money, no home and sitting on a product they were licensed to sell. I do think come November it will get stricter and I would also say you should get a prescription. In my case, it does help and it is healthier than ibuprofen so I am grateful.
By the way, “recreational” is not a very good word to describe smoking ganja. I think Bob Marley is closer to the truth on that, it’s certainly more on the spiritual side than something like alcohol and cigarettes, which seem to get a pass globally and they are worse than A LOT of other illegal substances. It’s matter of science people, not your version based on feelings.
Thailand is a little pricey but it is still very, very enchanting, the people are great and the scene is as well. I’m not talking about Pattaya, that may be a bit on the wild side, reckless and irresponsible. That is 100% an alcohol issue, people are in so much denial in the world these days , they don’t want truth, they want to reinforce their distorted version.
well there goes a few billion $$…
